Congratulations to the 2026 winners of the Elie Wiesel Prize In Ethics!
This year’s winners explored the theme — Silence, Conscience, and Responsibility — with thoughtfulness, honesty, and conviction. Each year, the winners are chosen through a rigorous, multi-tiered, anonymous review process.

Along with scholarships, the fellows participate in professional development opportunities, including seminars, networking, and a full-day gathering and celebration in New York City. This is a special opportunity furthering the real-world relevancy of the Prize. As part of the fellowship, the winners provide a multiplier effect for ethical leadership by returning to their campus to lead peer-to-peer seminars co-sponsored by the Foundation. Through these seminars, we will reach thousands of students each year and share Elie and Marion’s moral vision for a more humane and ethical world.

We are sustained by the support of donors like you committed to carrying forward Elie and Marion Wiesel’s work to promote understanding, human dignity, and moral leadership around the world.

We hope we can depend upon you to support the Prize in Ethics. Please join us.
